Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This notice explains how Kilmurry & Co uses personal information when you visit this website, sign up for updates or get in touch.

Who we are

Kilmurry & Co is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy or your information at info@kilmurryandco.co.uk, by calling 0141 632 5606, or by writing to 210 Kilmarnock Road, Shawlands, Glasgow G43 1TY.

This notice covers our coming-soon website and related enquiries. It will be updated when we introduce further online services.

What we collect and why

  • Email signups: your email address, consent and submission record. By clicking “Sign me up” on our newsletter form, you opt in to receive Kilmurry & Co news, opening updates and offers by email. We use these details to manage your subscription and send those emails. Marketing is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Enquiries: contact details, your message and any information you choose to share by email, phone or social media. We use this to respond and handle your request, relying on our legitimate interest in communicating with customers. If you ask us to arrange a service, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • Website information: our hosting services may process your IP address, browser and device information, request times and session information to deliver the site, operate forms and protect against misuse. Our legitimate interests are keeping the website available, secure and working properly.

Providing information is voluntary. We need an email address to manage an email signup and enough contact information to answer an enquiry. This website does not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Your marketing choices

You can withdraw your marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or by emailing info@kilmurryandco.co.uk. This does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew consent.

You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time. We will stop using your information for that purpose when you object.

Who helps us handle information

Wix provides our website hosting and signup form services. Website support providers, including Spectre Projects, may access information where necessary to maintain or troubleshoot the site. Email and communications providers process the messages you send us. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations or deal with a legal claim.

Wix processes information in Israel and through service providers in other countries, including the United States. Its published terms describe international-transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions and contractual safeguards where applicable. Read Wix’s privacy policy and sub-processor information. Contact us if you would like information about safeguards relevant to your data.

Cookies, fonts and external links

The Wix platform uses cookies and similar browser storage for functions such as visitor sessions, security and site operation, and includes tools for site measurement. The technologies used can depend on the service and your consent settings. You can review or delete stored cookies through your browser; blocking necessary storage may affect features such as the signup form.

Our fonts are delivered by Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives technical information, including your IP address. See Google’s explanation of font privacy.

Instagram, directions and other external links take you to separate services. Those services handle your information under their own privacy notices when you visit them.

How long we keep information

We keep information for the purposes for which it was collected. For enquiries, this means the time needed to respond, resolve follow-up matters and retain any records needed for a legal obligation or claim. For newsletter subscriptions, it means while you remain subscribed and the mailing list is in use.

After an unsubscribe request, we may retain a limited record of your preference so that you are not added back to marketing by mistake. Consent and security records may be kept where needed to demonstrate compliance or investigate misuse. Retention is assessed according to the purpose, any unresolved issue and applicable legal requirements; contact us for information about a particular record.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. To make a request, email info@kilmurryandco.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity.

You can raise concerns with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. Read more about your information rights.
